This year, 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the San Diego Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

The La Jolla Summer White Party is proud to once again have the
opportunity to serve a premier local charity, The San Diego and
Imperial Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides a critical support network to
tens of thousands of local families with loved ones afflicted with this
terrible and sad disease which robs people of their life’s memories
and severely challenges their accomplishments of
everyday functions. Imagine waking up
each day and not recognizing your home
or family members, not knowing where you
are or how you will get through the day, everyday.
 This disease is terribly stressful on both the afflicted
and their caregivers.
The Alzheimer’s Association provides a critical
support network and sponsors research into the
cause and cure for this nasty curse.

The La Jolla Summer White Party was pleased to raise $3,000.00 for the Alzheimer’s Association at last year’s event. Our goal for this year is to double that amount, without increasing the cost for guests. This will be accomplished through affiliated activities, including an on-line auction, a live auction and greater sponsor/donor support of the event to lower the overhead/increase the proceeds.
